New API-as-a-Service Technology Streamlines Application Development on the Algorand Blockchain

Boston, MA – August 22, 2019 – PureStake, a leader in secure and reliable blockchain infrastructure, announced today the release of its new Algorand API-as-a-Service. This service offering allows developers to easily interact with the Algorand network without needing to host and manage their own infrastructure. With the PureStake API service, developers can quickly and reliably access both Algorand’s TestNet and MainNet, reducing time to market and improving application stability.

This release provides access to the full Algorand API, which includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Account information
  • Transaction information
  • Sending transactions
  • Ledger supply
  • Transaction fees
  • Transaction parameters

“We see our API service as an effortless on-ramp to the Algorand network that enables developers to focus on their application, rather than its supporting infrastructure,” said Derek Yoo, PureStake CEO. “Algorand’s support for very high transaction volumes and immediate transaction finality make it an ideal choice for decentralized applications. We are excited to make it easier for developers to build applications that take advantage of these unique properties by using our API service.”

Developers can register for the PureStake API service in minutes through an online registration portal. To celebrate the launch of the API service, PureStake is sponsoring Algorand’s upcoming hackathons and will give event participants free access to the API for the duration of the event.
